Business Owner Tax Control Plan™ — Secure Document Submission
Securely Provide Your Tax Control Plan Records
Your intake is complete. Now provide the records needed to begin developing your Business Owner Tax Control Plan™.
Please use the designated secure client portal to provide the tax, business and financial records needed for your planning engagement.
These records will help us evaluate your current tax position, identify planning priorities and develop recommendations based on your actual circumstances.
Do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank records or other sensitive financial information through ordinary email.
Start With Your Most Recent Tax Returns
Please provide your most recently filed:
✓ Federal individual income tax return
✓ Primary-state individual income tax return
✓ Business tax return, if your business files a separate return
This may include Form 1065, Form 1120-S or Form 1120 depending on how your business is taxed.
If Tax Control Group™ already has the applicable returns in your client records, you do not need to provide another copy unless requested.

Provide the most current information reasonably available for your primary business.
This may include:
✓ Current year-to-date Profit & Loss statement
✓ Current Balance Sheet, when available

Start With the Records That Matter Most
You do not need to upload every receipt, invoice, bank transaction or business document you have.
Start with your tax returns, current financial summaries, payment information and records related to significant tax issues or transactions.
If we need additional information while developing your plan, we'll tell you specifically what is needed.
This helps keep the planning process focused on the information that can materially affect your tax decisions.
Your Plan Depends on the Information Available
Your Business Owner Tax Control Plan™ will be developed using the information and records available during the engagement.
Incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information may affect projections and recommendations.
Your tax position may also change because of future income, expenses, deductions, credits, elections, payments, business activity, tax-law changes or other circumstances.
If something significant changes while your plan is being developed, let us know.
