Your intake is complete. Now provide the records needed to prepare your current-year tax projection.
Please use the designated secure client portal to provide the tax and financial records requested for your Estimated Tax Planning™ engagement.
Do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank records or other sensitive financial information through ordinary email.
Start With Your Most Recent Tax Return
Please provide your most recently filed:
✓ Federal individual income tax return
✓ Primary-state income tax return
✓ Relevant business tax return, if your business files separately from your individual return
If Tax Control Group™ already has the applicable return in your client records, you do not need to provide another copy unless requested.

Provide the most current information available for your primary business.
Depending on how your records are maintained, this may include:

✓ Current year-to-date expense summary
✓ Current bookkeeping reports relevant to your income and expenses
✓ Information about significant business purchases or asset sales
✓ Information about material changes in business income or expenses
Provide the most current information reasonably available. Your records do not need to be year-end final statements.
Provide Information About Other Income
If applicable, provide records showing current-year income outside your primary business.
These may include:
✓ Recent pay statements showing year-to-date wages and federal/state withholding
✓ Spouse's recent pay statement if filing jointly
✓ Pension or retirement income information
✓ Social Security income information
✓ Rental income information
✓ K-1 or pass-through income information available for the current year
✓ Significant investment or capital-gain information
✓ Information about other material income disclosed on your intake
Only provide items that apply to your situation.
Show Us What You've Already Paid
Provide documentation of estimated-tax payments already made for the current tax year.
This may include:
✓ Federal estimated-tax payment confirmations
✓ Primary-state estimated-tax payment confirmations
✓ Payment vouchers or receipts
✓ IRS or state account records showing applicable payments
If you have not made any estimated-tax payments, there is nothing to upload for this section.

If applicable, provide information supporting significant changes that could affect your tax projection, such as:
✓ Starting, closing or selling a business
✓ Major change in business income
✓ Major equipment or asset purchases
✓ Sale of real estate or other significant property
✓ Significant investment gains or losses
✓ Retirement-plan contributions or distributions

You do not need to provide unrelated records.
Provide What Is Relevant — Not Everything You Have
Estimated Tax Planning™ is a focused current-year tax projection.
You do not need to upload every receipt, invoice or transaction from your business unless specifically requested.
Start with the summary records and supporting information listed above.
If we need additional information to complete the projection, we'll tell you exactly what is needed.
Your Projection Is Based on the Information Available
Your Estimated Tax Planning™ projection will be prepared using the information and records available at the time of the review.
Incomplete, inaccurate or outdated financial information may affect the projection.
Your actual tax liability may also change because of future income, expenses, deductions, credits, withholding, estimated payments, business activity, tax-law changes or other circumstances.
