Priority Reviewā„¢ includes review of your submitted tax notice and relevant supporting information, identification of important dates and apparent response requirements, and recommended next-step direction based on the information reviewed.
Your Priority Review includes:
- Review of the complete tax notice
- Identification of the tax period and issue involved
- Identification of important dates shown on the notice
- Review of what the taxing authority appears to be requesting
- Review of relevant supporting information
- Identification of information that may still be needed
- Recommended next-step direction
*Priority Reviewā„¢ does not automatically include tax-return preparation, amended-return preparation, bookkeeping, tax resolution services, negotiations, appeals, collection representation, legal services, or other professional services outside the review. If additional services appear appropriate, they will be identified separately.
Important: Purchasing Priority Reviewā„¢ does not extend, suspend, or replace any deadline stated on your tax notice. You remain responsible for monitoring and complying with applicable response dates and deadlines.
Security: Do not enter Social Security numbers, EINs, bank information, tax-return information, or other sensitive taxpayer information in checkout fields. Secure document submission instructions will be provided after purchase.
Priority Reviewā„¢ does not guarantee a particular tax result, reduction of tax, removal of penalties or interest, acceptance of a position by a taxing authority, or any other specific outcome.
Cancellation & Refunds: If cancellation is requested before Tax Control Group begins substantive review of the submitted notice and supporting information, the payment may be eligible for refund under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Once substantive professional review begins, the Priority Review fee is non-refundable.
