What Should I Have Ready?

Depending on your situation, you may be asked to provide:

  • The complete tax return you want reviewed
  • Relevant W-2s, 1099s, K-1s or other income documents
  • Business schedules or supporting records relevant to your concern
  • Notices related to the return, if applicable
  • Other documents specifically requested during the review

You do not need to provide everything now. Complete the intake first.

Keep Your Tax Information Secure

Do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank information or other sensitive taxpayer documents through ordinary email.

Sensitive information should only be provided through the designated secure client process.

Your Review Does Not Automatically Include Corrections

Tax Return Review™ identifies significant items that may require attention. It does not automatically include preparation or filing of an original or amended return, correction of identified issues, bookkeeping, tax-account investigation, IRS or state representation, audit representation or legal services.

If additional work is recommended, it will require a separate scope and engagement.
